REPORTING TO: Bid & Planning Manager
Agilitas IT Solutions provide the most innovative and comprehensive technical inventory service to the leading OEMs and field service providers.
We maintain and manage spare parts inventories, and deliver complementing technical services worldwide. Our services have been specifically designed to equip customers with control over inventory expenditure, optimised spare part availability and enhanced service performance.
As part of a small office based team you will assist with spare parts planning for a wide range of I.T. products that are supported under hardware contracts, taking into consideration part and system types, fail rates, and geographical locations to ensure that spares requirements are fulfilled within agreed SLA. The role primarily entails analysing supported systems to determine the spare parts makeup, recording this data, and using bespoke planning tools and guidelines to set minimum part levels.

• BOM Production
o Production and maintenance of parts lists database
o Produce specific BOM’s (Bill Of Materials) for contracted asset base
o Analyse contracted database to extract and interpret relevant technical information relating to specific make-up of systems
• Contracts Planning
o Using tools and guidelines, plan which spares are to be held and where for support of systems under contract
• Planning Queries
o Assist Customer Support and Service Teams with planning queries
• Data Preparation
o Standardise data in preparation for upload to contracts database
• Parts Chain Maintenance
o Align parts chain data within ERP system
• Support the bid function with a longer term aim of producing customer contract quotations

JOB TITLE: Test Engineer
PLACE OF WORK: Nottingham
REPORTING TO: Engineering Manager
Working in a workshop environment as part of the engineering team, Required to test wide range of computer products, de-manufacture parts, diagnose returns & provide technical support to internal sales alongside the Technical support team. Ensuring SLA deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained to ensure customer contractual service levels while adhering to all Acal Health & Safety processes and procedures.
Engineering Team, Customer Support Team, Operations Team, Technical Support Team, Quality Manager, Procurement Manager and Service Managers.
Parts Testing - Using test rigs, diagnostics tools and documented test processes to prove functionality of products from a wide range of manufacturers (IBM, Sun, HP, EMC, NetApp, Dell)
De-manufacturing – Removing parts from machines using documented removal procedures for stock and same day calls.
Machine Builds – Build servers and storage products to customer specifications.
Test Rigs – Maintaining test rig functionality.
Shift Cover - Work 10:00am – 6:30pm 1 week in 4 to cover late shift. Other 3 weeks working 9:00am – 5:30pm (subject to change).
